Howard County Youth Horse Show Series (HCYHSS) presents the

Entry Fees: Members: $7.00 per class
  Nonmembers: $8.00 per class
Membership Fee: $25.00 Individual
  $20.00 Additional Family Member
$50.00 Family Membership of Three or More
*There will be no refunds given for dropped classes

Notes: All regularly scheduled shows will be held at Schooley Mill Park or the Howard County
Fairgrounds which is located at 2210 Fairgrounds Road, West Friendship, Maryland 21794.
In case of rain, call (410) 313-4458 (Schooley Mill Park) for a recorded message after 7 AM
on the day of the show.  In case of bad weather, the show will be canceled.

In case of bad weather for make-up dates held at the Howard County Fairgrounds, contact
Joan Bosmans at 410-531-2370 at 7:00 a.m. the day of the show for a recorded message.

Show series members do not automatically become 4-H members. For additional horse show
information, call Joan Bosmans at 410-531-2370.
The Howard County 4-H clubs are presenting a series of shows designed to help the horse
and rider.  Six ribbons will be awarded in all classes.  We are not offering championship
ribbons, but will present end of the year awards in each division.  Only points for members
will be tallied.

The show series welcomes new members. You do not need to be enrolled in 4-H to join.
There will be membership applications at the entry booth. This show series is only open to
those 18 and younger as of January 1st.  In order for a member to accumulate points and
qualify for year-end awards, an adult family member (over 18) must work at one entire show.
If there are more than one rider per family, then an adult family member must volunteer for
two shows. Members must sign up for their volunteer day when they complete their
membership form. Official 4-H ages are 8 to 18.
Maryland Cooperative Extension 4-H programs are open to all citizens without regard
to race, color, gender, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, marital or parental
status, or national origin.    

Awards Banquet for 2011 Show Series Members will be held November 20th, 2011.
